Breast Asymmetries Correction

Breast Asymmetries Correction

What is Breast Asymmetries Correction?

Most women do not develop breasts equally, therefore one being larger and one smaller, in varying degrees, and they can reach an aesthetically uncomfortable asymmetry.

The surgical procedure for correcting breast asymmetry has indications especially in the following cases:

– incomplete development of the breast which remains small (mammary hypoplasia) unilateral or bilateral

– underdevelopment of the breast (mammary agenesis) unilateral or bilateral

How can asymmetric breasts be corrected?

R

Lipofilling

Your own fat is taken from the waist, legs or arms or other areas in which a liposuction is deemed necessary. After that, it is processed and dosed during surgery by injecting it rapidly and progressively, and the fat is dispersed in the breasts, in quantities necessary to obtain the desired volume.

This method is recommended mainly when you want a moderate breast augmentation because the intervention is limited by the amount of fat extracted and by the size of the receiving area (input area).

R

Silicone implants

Is recommended to use silicone implants when, along with the correction of breast asymmetry an increase in volume is also desired.

To make the breasts look better,  during the initial consultation are established the desired final volume and the individual volumes of each silicone implant for each breast in order to finally obtain the same dimensions and a natural and balanced aspect.

Silicone implants is the preferred method in most cases, and for medium sizes, because the surgeon can better control the amounts introduced and their positioning.

R

Lifting

For asymmetric breasts correction where the introduction of additional volume is not required, the surgeon can perform a repositioning of the breasts through lifting of the largest one or both breasts, with the option to reduce volumes if necessary.

See your new breasts BEFORE surgery with Crisalix 3D Scan

During the first consultation you will discuss with your doctor about you worries, wishes and expectations. You will discuss with the specialist surgeon about the shape, volume and desired positioning of the breasts, the medical history, the details of the intervention, possible risks and postoperative recovery conditions.

Based on Crisalix 3D scanning technology, you will be able to see a simulation of your own breasts before and after surgery during the consultation. This is very useful for you to understand the realistic expectations you could have from the surgery.

Post-surgery recovery

After surgery it is necessary to spend the night in the hospital, monitored by medical staff, and the next day you can go home.

Postoperative pain and a sensation of tension are minimal and tolerable and may be present only in the first 24-48 hours.

Follow the doctor’s medical indications according to the procedure performed.
